Ethics in university education: promoting social responsibility

Ethics is the most important and functional branch of philosophy today, because it represents a social challenge, which is reflected in our daily attitudes as a response to problems and new social challenges Gamero (2023). The purpose of this research is to reflect on ethics, its principles and codes in Universities from an ethical-political-philosophical perspective, as well as social responsibility constitutes a privileged social tool for the exchange of ideas, opinions and experiences. This research is of a documentary type based on a compilation of different approaches. Consequently, it means that the University must be converted into a place where students can find the appropriate means and opportunities for their personal development on the intellectual, aesthetic, spiritual and moral levels; teachers investigate, generate and communicate knowledge, show desirable paths with their own lives, communicate to their students the pleasure of knowledge.
