Teaching in multicultural contexts, Challenges and transformative perspectives in the 21st century

This research aims to reflect on the role of the teacher in a context of cultural diversity, based on a documentary methodology with a bibliographic design. It highlights the need for committed and trained teachers to develop an intercultural approach that aligns with educational programs. These teachers must understand the strengths, limitations, and competencies of students from minority cultures, promoting meaningful learning and addressing cultural diversity through strategies that encourage respect, solidarity, and teamwork. Furthermore, it underscores the importance of identifying and addressing values, behaviors, and potential conflicts in multicultural contexts, transforming them into opportunities to foster peaceful coexistence. Finally, it emphasizes that the teacher must continuously reflect on their actions, adapting resources and strategies that ensure equitable treatment and the integration of local and global aspects in school dynamics, thus strengthening its impact on the educational community.
