Business management for technical efficiency in dual-purpose cattle systems

The study analyzed business management for technical efficiency in dual-purpose cattle ranching systems in the La Icotea sector, Zulia State, under the theoretical framework of Münch and García (2014) and López (2019). Methodologically, the research was analytical, with a non-experimental, cross-sectional, field design. The population consisted of seven producers, representing a census sample. A questionnaire was administered, showing a reliability of 0.83. The results revealed that producers operate based on empirical knowledge and lack management tools and technical profitability indicators. It is concluded that planning and control are the weakest functions, which directly restricts the operational efficiency of the sector.
