Humanistic empathy in transmodernity: an analysis from university management.

This hermeneutic-documentary study aims to discuss empathy in universities in a transmodern era, from a humanistic perspective, in order to characterize its role according to management principles, such as communication, supervision, control, and proposing valid responses to institutional functions; and its orientation towards the implementation of changes in line with reality, including: the use of virtual processes, automation, and artificial intelligence. Given the qualitative approach, an interview was conducted with three university executives, which was then triangulated and categorized to determine the relevant meanings, based on the premise that interpersonal relationships give rise to a natural and systemic process, where management as a process affects human talent with the obstacles or opportunities that arise, thus influencing the achievement of goals. Therefore, an analysis of the role of empathy in these processes from a transmodernity perspective is necessary to consolidate management for the satisfaction of the entity and self-sustainable development.
