Trying to summarize the life of an exceptional man in a few pages is a complicated task. Perhaps, to achieve this goal, it is necessary to appeal to memories of specific situations in which life is responsible for strengthening ties, joining paths or separating them. The problem with proceeding this way is that you run the risk of forgetting some significant events. However, this does not mean we should succumb to the attempt to cover an entire life, because, even in the most elaborate biographies, something will always remain unrevealed. Therefore, in these brief lines I will appeal only to my memory to approach the life of an academic with whom I shared decisive experiences in my life and that of many.
