Leadership has been present throughout human history. Developments in science and technology, advances in medicine, laws, and everything related to human evolution have been made possible thanks to individuals whose leadership has influenced others, mobilizing efforts to achieve specific goals. Therefore, given the relevance this phenomenon has in the evolution of human beings and societies, it has received special attention from scholars in administrative and behavioral sciences. Due to its importance, it has been included as a course in the curriculum of various university programs, including some educational programs at other levels. Similarly, many people dedicated to business consulting and mentoring include leadership-related topics as an essential part of their training offerings.
