Social consciousness in the community environment to contribute to sustainable development

The purpose of this essay is to reflect on social consciousness in the community environment to contribute to the sustainable development of urban settlements that have been affected by the deterioration of urban planning. It is framed within a documentary investigation, based on the analysis of laws and other printed materials containing information on standards and guiding principles of sustainable development. It is concluded that the inhabitants of the communities can integrate SDG No. 11 of the UN Agenda 2030, leading conscious practices that contribute to developing sustainable communities.
