Challenges of the United Nations Organization: contributions to humanity in times of COVID-19

The objective of this investigation was to analyze the United Nations Organization from the point of view of its structure and its performance to determine its validity in facing the COVID-19 pandemic. The work was in the postposivist approach, within the framework of the qualitative paradigm, with a type of interpretive research; with a documentary bibliographic design. Results, the United Nations Organization (UN) has played a transcendental role in the main conflicts on the planet, its participation in world life has been very significant, in addition, the role that through the World Health Organization (WHO) has contributed to overcoming COVID-19, but there are still pending agendas to fulfill. Conclusions, the contribution of the Organization of Nations, through the World Health Organization, has been fundamental to overcoming COVID-19. Likewise, for the consolidation of the UN it is important to introduce changes in its structure.
