Historical memory from Illustrious Zulianos: project for the preservation and dissemination of regional identity.

Abstract

This research analyzes the importance of the Historical Memory of the "Illustrious Zulianos" section of the Dr. Rafael Belloso Chacín Private University (URBE). This project uses digital platforms, seeks to preserve and disseminate the historical memory of the Zulia region through journalistic reviews and interactive publications on social networks. The role in the construction of individual and collective identity is explored, as a dynamic social construction influenced by the ideology, culture and experiences of social groups. The "Illustrious Zulianos" section fosters a culture of learning and valuing the past, fundamental for the understanding of the cultural heritage, identity and development of new generations, strengthening the sense of belonging and preserving traditions and values that forge the richness of the region. The objective of the research is to evidence the methodological proposal used to create the communicational products of "Ilustres Zulianos", combining journalistic and academic research.
